What is Youtube ?
YouTube is an American video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion.
The site allows users to upload, view, rate, share, add to favorites, report and comment on videos, and it makes use of WebM, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, and Adobe Flash Video technology to display a wide variety of user-generated and corporate media videos. Available content includes video clips, TV show clips, music videos, short and documentary films, audio recordings, movie trailers and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.
Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, but media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via YouTube, as part of the YouTube partnership program.
Unregistered users can watch videos on the site, but registered users are permitted to upload an unlimited number of videos and add comments to videos. Videos deemed potentially offensive are available only to registered users affirming themselves to be at least 18 years old. In July 2016, the website was ranked as the second most popular site by Alexa Internet, a web traffic analysis company.
YouTube earns advertising revenue from Google AdSense, a program which targets ads according to site content and audience. The vast majority of its videos are free to view, but there are exceptions, including subscription-based premium channels, film rentals, as well as YouTube Red, a subscription service offering ad-free access to the website and access to exclusive content made in partnership with existing users.
Creating YouTube Channel & Important points:
You can't change your custom URL after you create it.
Eligibility requirements :
To get a custom URL for your channel, your account needs to meet these requirements:
· Have 100 or more subscribers
· Be at least 30 days old
· Have an uploaded photo as channel icon
· Have uploaded channel art
You can also qualify for a custom URL that aligns with your web domain by linking and verifying your official webpage with your connected Google+ page
If you're qualified for a custom URL, you'll see a notice in your advanced account settings, receive an email notification, and may see a notification in your Creator Studio dashboard.
To get your custom URL, follow these steps:
2. Under "Channel settings," select the link to claim your custom URL.
3. In the "Get a custom URL" box, you'll see the custom URL(s) you've been approved for. You can't change these, but you may need to add a few letters or numbers to make the URL unique to you.
4. Select the box next to "I agree to the Terms of Service," then click Change URL.
5. Keep in mind that the custom URL will be linked to both your YouTube channel and your Google+ identity. Once your URL has been approved, you can't request to change it. When you're sure this is the URL you want, click Confirm choice.
Once selected, your audience can reach your channel by going to to either youtube.com/c/creatoracademy oryoutube.com/creatoracademy (note that we are using the Creator Academy channel as an example here, your URL will be unique to your channel). Both URLs will redirect to your channel homepage.
RANK YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEO ON GOOGLE:
Step #1: Find “Video Keywords”
Like anything in SEO, the YouTube SEO process starts with keyword research.
Your goal is to find keywords that have YouTube results on the first page of Google.
These are called, “Video Keywords”.
How to Find Video Keywords
The easiest way to find video keywords is to search for keywords in your niche.
Then see if any of the keywords you searched for have YouTube video results, like this:
Once you’ve found a Video Keywords, it’s time to check if there’s enough search volume for that keyword.
Because videos don’t take a ton of time to put together, you don’t need to go after keywords with massive search volumes.
Just make sure your target keyword gets at least 300 searches per month in Google (you can find this information using the Google Keyword Planner.
Step #2: Make Your (Awesome) Video
Like anything in business, the more you put into your video, the more you’ll get out of it.
Step # 3: Make Your Video At Least 5-Minutes Long
Like with text-based articles, longer videos rank better.
Step #4: Upload Your Video With YouTube SEO In Mind
Here’s how to extract the most SEO value from your video.
Video Filename
When you’re done with the video make sure that you use the keyword in the video’s filename.
For example, if you wanted to rank for the keyword “software Training”, you’d want to name your video software_training_video.mp4.
Video Title:
The title of your video should be at least 5-words long. That way, you can include your full keyword without keyword-stuffing.
Video Description:
Your videos description is VERY important.
Because Google and YouTube can’t “listen” to videos, they rely on your text description to determine your video’s content.
Here are the basic guidelines for the description:
- Put your link at the very top of the video (this maximizes CTR to your site)
- Include your keyword in the first 25 words
- Make the description at least 250-words
- Include your keyword 3-4 times
Tags
Tags aren’t super-important…but they help.
Just include a few keywords to help YouTube and Google learn what your video is about.
Targeted tags not only help you rank for your target keyword…
see example in given below image:
Step # 5: Get Video Views :
To create multiple channel first create google plus page for that chaneel and then make login youttube and go to url : http://www.youtube.com/channel_switcher
and choose your google plus page for which you want to create channel..
and verify your web page which is connected with your google plus page.
enter your ads headline & choose options:
Send users who click my ad
(6)choose your target Audience and click on save and continue:
(7)then procedd for payment and Billing:
(8)make search on that topics on youtube.com
see example in given below image:
Step # 5: Get Video Views :
We talked a lot about user experience signals so far…which are REALLYimportant.
But in order for your video to rank for competitive keywords, it needs to get A LOT of views.
More views=higher rankings.
But there’s one catch…
…the views need to be real.
YouTube has caught onto fake views. That’s why I don’t recommend using a service on Fiverr to pump up your view count.
And as we already discussed, long-retention views are worth their weight in gold.
Here are some strategies you can use to get targeted views to your video:
Mention Your Video on Quora and Other Q&A Sites
Quora, Yahoo! Answers, and other Q&A sites are some of the most popular sites on the web (Quora rocks a top 500 Alexa ranking).
But if you try to go in there and plaster links all over the place, you’re going to get banned in a flash…
…unless you link to YouTube.
Because you’re posting your video in a place where people are desperate for information on a given topic, the views you’ll get are extremely high-retention.
Just search for a question on your video’s topic:
And add a link to your video. Or better yet, embed it into your answer:
Link To Your Video In Your Email Signature
People that email you (like your mom) generally like you.
And if you’re like me, you get A TON of emails.
So when you add a link to your latest video in your email signature, that means you get high-retention views like they’re going out of style.
Embed Your Videos in Blog Posts
Whenever you write a blog post (on your site or as a guest post for another site), think to yourself:
“Where can I embed a YouTube video into this post?”
For example, when I published a case study about The Moving Man Method, I embedded a video to explain how the strategy worked.
Make case study on following keywords and note down video filename, video title, video description, video Tags:
(1)android studio tutorial
(2) digital marketing course tutorials
(3) bookkeeping tutorial
(4) matrix tutorials
(5) android tutorial
and choose your google plus page for which you want to create channel..
and verify your web page which is connected with your google plus page.
